Just rolled into Omaha after a great weekend in Morris and the Hunnert car pile up. In my first few minutes on the HAMB first things I see are people complaining about the traffic the weather the cars that got in or didn't get in blah blah blah. Unbelieveable, I thought the weather was fine, it didn't rain and it did't snow and there was no dust. We are from the Mid-west does anybody think it's not going to be cold in October. The cars that got in or not I would say they do there best. Try offering your help to the Red shirt army next year and see if you can do better. We got there early and left late and had no traffic issues. These guys put up with all this and donate all the proceeds to charity, blows me away.
As for me I loved the whole expierence, and hope to be back again next year. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS !!!! and want to thank the Chrome Czars, Catherine (dumbwhore) and the red shirt army for all there hard work and dedication to putting on a great show.
Dallas, Denise,Randy, thanks for your company and to all the people I got to talk to (new and old friends) it was good to meet you or see you again. Hope everyone made it home safe and Louvre Dude please tell me you sold your 55 gasser project. Looked like the deal of the weekend to me. Heres a few pic's. Gary

    Great stuff,

I am not a Vett guy (in fact I hate them) but that red vett is killer. Hope no one restores it.

I couldn't agree more. The coolest thing about it was that it was un-touched. Gary

the man that owns that Vette is from WI. He stated that his intention is to keep it original and drive it until the body rusts out

It was COLD. Mid 40's and windy. Last year it was in the low 80s most of the day, crazy midwest weather.

I heard the guy with the vette talking. He found it in a barn where it has been stored for 46 years! He told a guy I was standing next to the car runs good and he dosnt want to replace a single part on it if he dosnt have to.

It was on a trailer right at the entrance to where the swap used to be. PM Louvre Dude with any questions. Looks like an excellent project to me.

It's definetly in the hands of the right person. It was hard to stop looking at it. Soooooo cool.

Yeah, you definatly dont come across those everyday, especially so all original like that. Probably the most memorable car of the show in my opinion.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Dude! This threads sucks. Were are all the rat rodz and diesel powered freaks?

Seriously, all the people bitching about what shouldn't get in need to look at your pics and see the awesome stuff that was there.

I am loving the "No Hood" look. Hmmmm....might have to consider this for the 51' Caddy Convertible...
