My son got his first car last year, a '64 Impala. Kinda beat but not a Honda! This is the night we brought it home..............Dad was very happy too.

 

Here's mine, haven't started yet to be a FX or Gasser car. Does anyone have a hood, I'm looking for one for my ' 63. I plan to make a tilt nose soon.

Here's a couple of my old 63's, and my current 62 project that i have no idea when i will get to. i've had other's but no pics on here. 63's are my personal favorite.
I've made the rule that i will always have an Impala of some year til i croak. haha

This one was an unrestored original with the only changes being the rims and exhaust..50K miles with original paint, int etc..
I bought it with the M/T wheels, and sold it with the steelies, whites and dog dishes.



This was a barn find SS 327-300 4 speed. JUST as solid as the black car, but the paint was aged...perfectly ..did a LOT of work to it to get it back on the road.
Sold this to one of my dad's close friends. I'll get this back someday but hopefully not too soon..i didn't want to let it go so the guy willed it to me..Like i said, he's a close friend of the family..
I put the M/Ts on this when i built it..I loved this car and miss it.


This is the current one. I picked this up from a good friend of mine. it'll be 327 powered with a 4 speed..with the same M/T wheels! i kept them..

 

thanks Tony, both of the 63s you posted look sweet with those MTs and that 62 has a ton of potential. im kind of undecided what i want to do with mine but for now it runs and drives and thats all that matters

 

At my house growing up telling my pops you got a Honda would have been like telling him you were gay, good score on the Impala .

The HAMB has an Impala social group called Impala Valley...but it's been pretty inactive for a while now.

Yup..that red 58 was mine (kinda/almost..lol)...Had the deposit on it but the deal feel through. Anyways, found some old pics of Impalas i've owned along with a couple of buddies...

The 1st is my 58 Imp i just got..2nd is a 63 ss being rescued from a barn..3rd is my old 62..4th was my buddy Jim's 63 & 5th is my boy Frankie's 62.
