Hey El Paso! What's up next weekend?

I can't believe it. I planned all year to make the Day of the Drags after missing it last Fall. I made sure my calendar was clear, I kept steering other projects away from that weekend, and here I find myself in El Paso, working, for two weeks! :(

Now it's up to the Local Hambers to bail me out. What's going on around El Paso or South New Mexico this weekend? Tell me there's a nostalgia race nearby! Please!

Juarez is right there for plenty of depravity, death, & destruction...

Just what I need, comments from some bozo that names himself after the mystery meat at Luby's and a ticket to the hottest new amusement park, 6 cartels over Juarez!

How about some nice, quiet, nitro drags or a parking lot full of gold chainers and cry baby dolls?

I found a war bird museum nearby, but that may not keep me sane.

Hey, practically in your back yard. Right off 375 & I-10.

Send me a PM with your address and phone and I'll give you a shout. I'll be keeping banker's hours all week, but got nothing planned for this weekend or after 5pm on Friday. I'd love to see it.

Also check out Las Cruces, Ruidoso, Cloudcroft, and the "Edge of Texas" steakhouse out 54. Carlos & Mickey's is good eating too.

There's actually a lot to see outside of El Paso. A couple of good museums on Ft Bliss as well.

    Yes, stay away from Juarez!
