Hello everyone! My name is Kelli. I heard about this site from my boyfriend who is 454navyss, aka Carey. I enjoy classic cars, going to car shows and drag strips with Carey.

I have a 1989 GMC Jimmy that Carey got me for Valentines Day last year and we are working on it.

My dream car is a 1969 Chevy Camaro, in Arrival Blue, with white racing stripes, white and blue houndstooth inset seats, 454 engine or maybe a 496 Stroker.

you know what I mean. It doesnt have that classic sleek look anymore. Its just so big and ugly. I dont like how the front and back end come to a point either. It couldve been a really badass car like the Challenger.

Hey guys, Im back. Its been a while!

To update, I no longer have my GMC Jimmy. Carey and I traded that for an S10 frame to start our project with my '53 Chevy pick up truck! Im so excited. The truck was Careys first vehicle when he was 15. His dad was going to sell it, and he asked me if I wanted it to build, I of course accepted :)

Since I have my own classic now, I will be on here a lot more updating yall on how our project is going.

    See ya around :)

No, I still love the '69 Camaro and I would do anything to have one. But this truck was already in the family and about to be sold, so we are going to get it and build it. Im still excited about it though!
Thank you! Carey already did "My AD truck build". We are working on it together so I can learn all the ins and outs of building a truck...but I will be the one driving it most of the time since he has his '63 Impala!

We are trying. Im going to start going out to the garage at night when its cooler to finish all the sanding. Carey (454navyss) got scraps of metal last night so we can do the stretching of the frame. Id love to see pics of your gf's truck!!
    Thank you :)

Cool truck project...but hey wouldn't it be even neater to retain the stock frame and add something like a 348 between the rails?
