Got some work done today. First I got the tires aired up and rolling. Then found the crack in the block. Probably fixable. I gutted and cleaned the interior of all the mice **** that was in there. Floor was not near as rusty as I had immagined. Notice the milage: 48,900 on the dot!!

Nice truck Chris, that thing is the perfect salt flat "pushmobile" with those bumpers. They look like they were designed for the salt.

Exactly what I said when i went up to look at it today," Bonneville push truck". Lets vote that he leaves the front & rear bumbers on it. SAVE THE BUMPERS.

HAHAHA! I will gladly donate the bumpers to whoever wants em...it does look pretty stout with them, HOWEVER, I have another vision in mind :D Oh, and the stacks gonna go, too! This things gonna have a stock front bumper and no rear bumper. As Oldebob would say "make a worthless truck out of it" ;)

    Nice dude.

Take notice everyone, this is one of the hardest working individuals regarding Hot Rods on this board. He has the drive of an American Pit Bull Terrier hahah!!!!

Saving up for your ticket to Charlotte still. Don't worry I am getting there.

Personally, I like the 42-47 Ford trucks, especially for the money which might be why I have four of them in various states of disrepair. Nice find!

Chris, If that's a 32 3/w door in the upper right-you'll kick yourself. Salvaging that stuff will take a sled and a winch.

Neat truck! Get her running and leave the paint as is!

I didn't see anything that looked remotly Ford except maybe a T fender. But you never know. Theres a neat club in Grand Coulee so I wouldn't exspect anything too neat down there, but you never know :D I had a couple guys PM me for the location, so maybe one of them will score something good!!!

    I love it! :)

  25. You're crazy, but your new truck looks pretty sweet.

I'd keep the front bumper and chrome it . Swap out the exhaust stack for a stripper pole and drive it!:D
