  9. I wasn't able to run my Top Fuel car so i am simply going to get a swap space and lay some parts out. If you come by, say hello. There'll be a primered '66 GTO in my space I drove out from Arizona.

  10. I'm on the road with the '66 GTO. Gonna try to drive all night if I can. It is about a 500 mile drive for me each way. Want to get there in the morning. Weather looks OK. kinda' warmer than I would like but, at least it will be dry.

I remember the first several Reunions were in November, it was much cooler, nicer when it was in Nov.

Still, can't wait to get there. The Reunion at the patch is the best.
If you need to satisfy your nitro fix, this will be the place to be for sure.

Heres the map for the HAMB meet. The maroon area is the stands, green is the food vendor area, yellow is the vendor area, blue is the benches just inside the chain link fence in the grove. The red circle is the HAMB meet area..........be there at Noon.

  16. Wife and I will be there Sat. until they run us out..
we misssed the last three years due to our own races at altamont but now that Altamont is closed we are available!!.. To me this is like going threw an old trunk in the attic, ya just keep finding treasures and memories the more you look...
When we are not watching the action we will be in the Rich Roberts AA/GS pits...

And as for the golf carts look and see who's really using them, it isn't many of the "old timers" with their scooters, it's mostly the young studs with their trophy babes, and their 4X4 monster carts and some of us old timers can't get near the fence.. I agree with the idea of banning them from the grandstand area or create an area just for them at the end or something...

Looks like the area on the map is just the other side of the fence from the AAA booth.

I got here Thursday evening and had a quick look around at the track before heading out to ead and then to the motel. I will be floating around the pits unless Brendan Murry need some extra help with his top fuel car.

  20. It's about 10:30 and it is still quite hazy/foggy here. Only a few cars have made runs. probably due to visibility or dew.
Still lots of swap spaces left. Should be a great weekend.
