First post. I'm stoked just to be in the same room. Wacom photoshop painting - sort of like a "right out of the sixties" concept.

 

Todd, love the rendering and I will be using it for inspiration when I build my '29 Roadster, this is almost exactly the picture I had in my mind of what I want my roadster to look like!!

 

Now that's what I'm talkin' about! With all due respect, the over all quality of art posted this week as apposed to last week is 100% better&#8230; good show folks!

 

Hey everyone. You guys are all amazing!
I am trying to find a piece of art work, a skull wearing a cowboy hat, that I saw a little while back while browsing the archives. Can someone let me know if it wa their work or if they know who's it is. I really liked that particular work and want to get another look but haven't been able to find it again.

Well you know, wink… I never really thought he did… but sometimes you gotta roll the kustom out of the shop & stand back and look at your work on it with a critical eye… if ya know what I mean.

The critique has always been a part of making art… if it's done right folks grow and get better… if you realise that I'm not just spouting off to be an asshole.

 

The one is a sharpie marker drawing i did on my wall of a 52 Packard inspired by the art of Chad Lampert and the other is just for fun thinking if I was a cowboy in the old west what kind of Horse would I ride.

 

Everyone's work here is always so awesome!

My work is largely ink+digital, but i threw down some paint for a friend this past week. If you want to see detail or progress shots, i put some up in my blog over at nikscarlett.blogspot.com (didn't want to clog up the space here, ya know) -
