Hot Rods Real 50's deuce for 25K?

This deuce is in Hemmings for sale. Kinda ugly but seems to be the real thing. There are several pics of the car, one is a old pic from the 50's. 25 grand. Seems cheap. Anyone know anything about this car?

Damn, that things FUGLY

 

It may be from the 50's originally but those seats sure aren't. I rather doubt the wheels are either. The rest looks very much like what a young hot rodder back then might do. Remember back then, they liked lots off fu-fu.

 

That would be a cool ride to have....looks like a 348 or 409 tucked in there.

 

UGLY..............stretched hood, side pipes, pure ugly

 

I think so too. Ugly or not it's still cool. Probably runs out good with that big block too.. One thing for sure them seats would have to go..

 

seats and side pipes gotta go, but i kind of like it. odd
proportions with that hood. but not too bad. is that a caddy or laselle grille and hood?

 

Ditch the side pipes, fenders, and rear spare tire and it would be really cool in my opinion.
