  5. SKIM is my newfound idol. I've always heard of cars being so bad they wouldn't pull it out of a ditch-but he did and I'm not sure if he rebuilt a convertible or turned a four door into a convertible. There's more four door metal there but who cares, that is completely awesome work! I'll be restudying those pics for months. Now suddenly many cars I've walked aways from look much more desireable (like a little 59 Belair that I've been thinking about)

My buddy Scott's. This was his first car back in high school. '64 Super Sport 327 w/ orig. A/C. (Kinda hard for a teenager to pass up for about $600!) He had the local Schucks manager do the rusted-out quarters back in '93, and he totally f***ed them up but Scott couldn't afford to have them re-done at the time so he pulled it into his carport about a year ago and went to work. (The other car w/ missing quarter was a parts car)

  12. Ignore my signature and avatar for just a minute and enjoy these. All 4 have perfect stance in my book. (none are mine, just cars and pix Iv'e run across over the years)
Growing up, and in high school I had several friends and relatives that had 62 Impalas. I've had a "thing" for them ever since. My all time favorite "big" Chevy.

I'd love to have any of these parked next to the Galaxie. Phil
