    i was told they were off of a fiat sports car that had a 283 in it.they look homemade,i still have to rework them to fit.the drivers side points down right at my draglink.ill post some pictures when i get them fitted just right.

    Have a Dirt Late Model engine thats been sitting against the wall since the race car was sold......so... :)

    Sounds like a perfect fit to me... I'm putting my IMCA modified motor in my "gasser" Falcon.

    65 falcon. 355 chevrolet powered 4:62 gears blah blah blah, Firing it up tomorrow cant wait for the neighbors to hear it!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You have to love neighbors. I bet them rear tires are going to scream for a hundred feet or so. Looks good.

    Cool Falcon! I got to say, I love the fact you put a Chevy in it. Run what you got, Right? Some "purists" may beg to differ but who cares. I put a Chevy in my Rambler too. 4:62 gears, are you running 1/8th mile drags or just planning to boil tire all over town? Either way have fun!

    its got a steel floor and firewall and weighs 2780. thats humpin for a small block!
    i put some vids of it on youtube, just search for whistler comet

    A shot of my 55 and my dads 56.My 55 has a 396 with a t-10 4spd.Dad already has a 540 with a tunnel ram,early doug nash 5spd with straight cut gears no synchro's and a 57 pontiac rear end for his 56.Both have 49 thru 54 chev truck axles.

    This is a great thread. You inspired me to finish the sketches for my gasser project, which I'll post as soon as I finish them. Here's one of my cartoons for now.
