Here is a 51 I just purchased from another HAMB member. I don't plan on changing anything other than upgrading the flathead six to a flathead V8.

I see that in Virginia these trucks rust in exactly the same places that they do in Missouri.

Also that your truck came equipped with the same parking brake that Clarence did.

Nice stance; original springs/axles? Subframed? Repositioned shackles? Etc.?

  12. The parking brake is a Home Depot aftermarket, haven't been able to find a good original one yet.

It has a Mustang II up front and one of those bolt in spring replacment kits from CPP in the back. 283ci and a 4spd. Should make for a decent driver I hope.

Heres' one a customer wants to trade me for work on his 35 chev pickup. Its' all new stuff, 9" ford; volare front w/proper inner fenders; new bed w/oak floor; alum fuel cell; rebuilt 289, automatic trans; new glass, fresh paint; autometer gage cluster; stainless bumper; some billett stuff in boxes. The chevy needs more than he thinks and this ford isn't as nice as he thinks so we are negotiating. But it would make a great shop truck (he told me originally that it had a rebuilt 292 motor and i thought it was a manual trans).
