The Jalopyrama is an old style car show held inside an Armory in Annapolis, Maryland. I've never been to the show, but the pictures that get posted on the H.A.M.B. always leave me wishing I had. Hor rods on HALLOWEEN, too cool. Also eliminates conflict with Vargo Dragway reunion on 11/07 so all you PA HAMBER's can come on down to Naptown.
Thanks, Ryan, for giving us the heads-up on this change of date. I had already marked the wrong date ( the following week-end ) on my calendar. For anyone out there who has never attended, this is one of those "don't miss it" shows. Mike and his crew do a phenomenal job. Hope the new venue works out as well as the previous one.....Don.
The new location is way better than the old one. Still an armory with slightly more room inside and a lot more room outside. There are some pretty special cars already committed and Mike is working on some others. It's a hotrod show by hotrodders for hotrodders...and charity...The Providence Center. Nobody gets paid to put this on.
AH DAMMIT! we'll be in SoCal on our Honeymoon, guess I'm not going this year. On the upside I'll be in the birthplace of hotrodding, so it's an even trade.....kinda

Great show, great atmosphere! Been to a couple of them. Drove my '59 to the 1st show in 2004. (pic below is from behind the armory)
I went last oct. This is a really neat show. Thanks for the dates going to try to go again this year.
Bump for a great show in case anyone missed the change of dates the first time around. Always love coming to this show Mike and good Lord willin', I won't miss this one either. Do we have to come in costume?
Bumping this back up as the show is about a week away... I don't want to sound like a broken record but Mike says he is still getting calls about the date of the show. The date is October 31, 2009. Also remember the new location is the Annapolis National Guard Armory. Hope to see everyone there!
Just got the word of the latest entry to the Jalopyrama floor will be a 1932 Ford 5 wdw coupe last tagged in 1968 running a 265 Chevy. It was just bought from the original builder and looks fabulous for a stored hot rod of 40+ years! Also there will be at least one other old Maryland hot rod from the 50s making it's debut on the floor. I was hoping to make it this year but it I won't be able to after all. "TOE" should take nice pics for the mag though. No doubt it will be a great show.
