Great pictures and memories I remember going to Lions back in the early 70's. If you had a pit p***, you could stand 20 feet behind the funny cars and top fuelers as they took off. Try that today! The grandstands were close at the starting line, maybe 40-50 feet from one side to the other. What great meets they had there, my favorite was the Coca-Cola meet in 71 or 72. bob
