I'm not sure that I would be able to handle the raw power and blinding speed of those Hawgs... But I would love to try!
I see that there was some bloodshed. One must have the element of danger and the potential for bodily harm for it to really be fun. Kudos to all involved-yes,I'm jealous that I wasn't there. Now I want to find one to build for Denise's proposed "bash". I just have to realize that 53+ year old bones take longer to heal...
hahahahahhahaha to all the responses, both sides..... I dig mini bikes...there, my vote is in. At the Lonestar Round-up, there was so much creativity in the construction of some of the bikes there, only wish some of the cars on the roads had that much detail in the builds I'm building one now for next years round-up with a 6hp and a small blower. Heres the tank I powdered for it..over the top flake babeeeeeeeeeeeee!

For those who hadn't seen it, the long running Vintage Minibikes thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=119200&highlight=vintage+minibikes
I've got an 8 horse motor that's been taking up space and collecting dust. I knew I was saving it for something!

Also INJUNTOM thanks for taking the time to check the archives about mini bikes, feel good when you prove people wrong doesn't it!!lol JimV
I want to be a hoodlum! I have a checkered past, and can do dumb things with the best of them. I can supply references upon request.
I have already had a lot of people asking me about the mini bikes at the Torque Fest.....I have to ask the insurance company what the status is about getting out there on the track.......I will let everyone know. We ARE clear for vintage Go Karts - so if you have something that is old (pre 75? for the go karts) bring it out and run some laps before the hot rods take over.
That looks like a blast. Anyone interested in a Briggs Raptor off of a Jr. dragster? PM me. Set up for alcohol, 28mm mikuni plus a some extra's. sure would make one of those mini bike FLY!!!!!
