Very nice find! How was it "poorly listed" on eBay? Maybe were all need to search the auctions differently.

I did that once with a live seagull...
Had the kids in the ride and we went by a burger place...
When we passed by a flock of seagulls passed right by our noses..
23 crossed in front....22 flew off..
Heard a 'thunk'.. The gurlz all squealed 'Ewwww''''
    I didn't stop for 25 miles...
But... at lil' girder bridge over a small river... Then I stopped.
Expecting to peel a dead seagull off the grille (and toss it in the river for the fishes)... I went and found a very dazed seagull that just had a wild 20 mile speed ride..
Set his drunken paddle feet by the side of the bridge and we drove off.
I was the hero for saving the birdie...
    Stupid gurlz... Stupider sea gull:p
    Jeff:cool:

    DAMN! That things slick!
I can't believe thats from here..i have never seen it, ever..If i had i'm sure it would have stuck in my memory.
It's never even been mentioned to me by anyone, and i've been fortunate to meet and know a lot of hot rod guy's around here..and i even had a 33 myself so a lot of them know i'm into these trucks.
I will have to start asking around to see if i can find out some info for you. There's a few guy's who have been into the old style hot rods for ever who may be able to shed a little light on it's history.
Anyway, VERY cool truck Bob, and i'm glad it'll be a keeper for ya..
    Congratulations!!

Wow great truck saw it the other day it's nice all over. Wonder how much the ASS boys have chopped the top in photoshop, we know you've done it show us the pictures. Will it be a little off the top or leave it alone? It's in the right hands that's for sure.

Tony, you know that truck very well and just dont realize how close to it you really were..A piece of history...Remember awhile back when you almost bought that Olds motor with the 4x2 set up?? It came out of ths truck....This truck as been tucked away for a long time until it was offered up for next to nothing for a side job. The guy took the guidance of a wrong individual who convinced him to change alot on the truck & ruined the intial find. I've been watching it locally on craigslist & ebay as well almost jumping on it myself but i bought my 58 Impala instread...I'm glad to see it went to the right hands to bring it back!!! Congrats Bob...Its a killer truck!

Dammit - Now I'm going to finish wiring the truck today so I can get back to work on the coupe.

  23. That truck is gay, but I could use some of the parts off it. What do you want for it?

I'm kidding of course, I love it, congrats.

  24. Pretty damned cool! If you hadn't said different I'd of thought Sean did the stitchin'.

I am glad to see that everything else was not changed. I saw the truck before the drive train was changed. It had a built Olds 324 with a 39 trans and stock rear. It had red wheels and whitewalls. I think the rear's were reversed. The car spent most of it's life in Ontario New York area.

No...I check my image files/ Ronnys was a deuce and never had that interior...i think Mr Webster still has it on the cali coast..... but it's uncanny how many details are the same.
