USAFSS '68-'72 Shu Lin Kou AS, JSPC Okinawa. Kept an eye on Uncle ho and Charman mao. Had a ringside seat when the Migs and the Phantoms were on the prowl. SR71s. B52s, F4s, and RC135Ms were all in a days work. Watched the red guards and the cultural revolution destroy all vestiges of Freedom in China and I look at whats happening in our country today with an ominous feeling of deja vu. Very interesting times, but I offer a heartfelt salute of respect admiration and appreciation to those on the front lines, past present and future.

How many of you attened the drags out at Ramstine Air Force Base, Germany back in the 60's? I remember seeing a '65 Olds 442 (called The Bounty Hunter), a Shelby GT350 Mustang, tons of local Europe built cars with American iron and other cars but I'm old and can't remember most of them.

Started off in the USN in 2008 - got medically discharged over a knee injury. I'm doing physical therapy now at the VA and hoping to go back next year.

ALLWAYS at the Drags @ Ramstien from 64-68. That Olds (Bounty Hunter was owned by a Civilian if I recall. Think his name was Dale Price and he may have worked for the Army over at K'town, but don't quote me. The base club was Ramstein motor sports and they supported all activities. I ran my 65 SS 327 there on many an afternoon. Parkbrau forever!!
