Does anyone remember Bo Jones' lakes modified? It really defined the style at the time he built it back in the 70's. I would like to see pictures of it now ... hopefully no one screwed it up by "improving" it.

    Great thread.

Navarro's is #1 in my book. It just looks 'right'. What I wouldn't give to have a time machine to go back......
Then there's that Larry Erickson roadster.....man, that's thing's cool as hell!

The Remmington car has always been one of those special cars.I'm sure Dan will do a great job (as the pictures post show) in building his take of the car. Can't wait to see build come along.

I finally got pictures of the parts collected so far. Looks like a rusty pile of junk, till you look at the cowl and doors.

    Whatta ya think?

I think its a great start. You need a 261 - I'll see if I have one in my stash and its on the way to you. You do the new exhaust and I'll help on the intake. Great rear and great wheels. Looks old timey to me. It will be a great car

Any nose is fine, they are all cool. I'm especially interested in seeing GMC or Chevy 6 bangers in them. I guess you see why.

Here's a few more. Keep them coming.

Thanks for posting a few build pictures we're honored to be re-creating Phil's car. I'll be adding pictures and video of the build often and you can check out build pictures over on hubgarage.com or follow my shop blog at http://awwebbautoart.blogspot.com/2009/10/first-blog.html
This build is to honor Phil and we are doing it spot on (for the most part) to what he did the first time. :D

    Thanks
