Looks like we're gonna beat the rain this time for Weds night.
Might just squeak by at Pomona drags on Thursday!

I am driving 50 miles from Ventura County after I leave work at 4:30 and drive 30 miles to home to get the cars.

Big success tonite. I saw a lot of my street race buddies that that went "pro" and are in town for the Finals. They drove out here from Pomona to hang out. Gary S, Steve J, Larry D

A lot of vans. Which was cool. A shit load of amazing cars and trucks. Overall a lot of fun.

lots of the outtown/outstate people came out to vanuys&other cruise spots also they ran their 'cars' at Lions-SanFernado&bakerfield during the weekend[if they did not Qualify at one they went to another just to get in the runs......what did you see on vannuys last nite that was because the nhra was in town???

I talked with the LAPD Watch Commander last night...He wanted me to pass along a heads up that in the last three months there has been an increase in thefts of classic cars, particularly '55 Chevy's and lead sled Merc's. He also stated that the LAPD is very cool with the cruising, however he has instructed his guys to bust the squirrels. They want to see this last as they are having a good time. (With the cruise, not busting people)
And he said he used to cruise too...In his brothers '58 Chevy pickup...
