Well after about 6 months of this thing sitting in the corner collecting dust Im back working on it again. Never meant to let it sit that long but was busy working on a couple bikes this summer and well you know how it goes. I still need to finish the trunk floor but in order to do that I need to fix the outer part on the driver side so I have something to weld the floor to. There was alot of rust around the beltline molding so I cut it out and got rid of the seam that was there and just replaced it with one piece. The whole lip where the rear fender bolts to needs replaced so thats what Im in the middle of now. This rear quarter is the worst part of the car so I figured Id start here and get it out of the way. Hope to make some good progress its starting to get cold here so the bikes are tore apart for a rebuild this winter, haha neverending.

Dude I dig this car. You're doing an amazing job and it looks like you have no fear of taking on the tuff **** that comes along with the job. Keep us posted.

Very nice work and an inspiration and challenge to get out in the garage and get to work for many of us.

Heres a few updated pics. Got the panel replaced the length of the quarter panel and started on the very rear where the taillight was at. Came out pretty good but theres a few areas that need some more tweaking.

This all proves again that these days you've got to be a restorer before you can be a customiser! Patience, good work.

Finally got the rear section around the taillight done. Felt like **** last week so didnt get too much accomplished. Still need to finish up around the trunk lip area but the deck lid is tacked shut so that will come later. Came out pretty good, it took like 6 pieces to make it all work. Heres a few pics.....
    Old and new...
