We spent yesterday at a large model car show near Atlanta. Think of a 1/25 scale Goodguys event and you've got the idea.

  8. Hey Guys, I wanted you all to see this car. It's a reproduction of the Hirohata Merc. It was made for the Wally Parks Museum in a very limited run of only 100 models. I requested # 47 nearly two years ago and received it late this summer. The Merc is nearly 13" long and looks great. I've always like this car and have various models and photos. Although I didn't build it, I Thought you might like to see it.

Built this fictional ASA style short track racer out of an old MPS Southern Stocker kit. Except for the chopped top, my decals, and rims from Fred's Resin Workshop, it is OOB. Hope you like it!

I posted a request for some parts for an old Big T model that was built a long time ago and was kinda broken up. I did get some stuff from a generous hamber and I will be trying to put some life back into it. Does someone here have some pictures of a completed Big T kit? I wanna see how eveyrthing is supposed to look on the model before I proceed on the fix. A set of instructions would be great if someone can photocopy them for me. Great models here today. Very cool stuff. Keep them coming!

This is the one I did a year or so ago. It's not exactly box stock but should be enough to give you the idea.

I'll have to look for that. Meanwhile I am trying to put this guy back together. Think of it as "barn find" and restoration.

You guys have gotten me motivated so I started one and am continuing another.

Started this, a '65 AWB SOHC Falcon:

Wheels/tires from the Little Red Wagon kit. Rattle-can candy metalflake blue. The Falcon will go with this one I built a few years ago:

I continued the build of the '55 model of my real '55 after it sat for months:

L'il Coffin wheels/tires and I need to foil the front rims after sanding the f-ing mold marks off. The piant just doesn't do it. The body is rattle-can Bright Red and closely matched the Flame Red on my '55. Headers came out of an original AMT '68 Camaro convertible kit I've had for years. Seats are out of the Monogram '66 Chevelle. Finned valve covers with "327" came out of an original AMT '62 Impala convertible. Foil for both comes next.

Thanks for sharing that. I hate to upset you but that is the ugliest damn thing I've seen! The artist(s) could have spent a little more time on it.

    Love all the others though!

Hey curbpspeed, is your T monogram or lyndberg ? I have an original inst. for the lyndberg T that includes the Blue Streak,Red Demon and Yellow Canary. I also have ***orted parts for the red T. If you can use them you can have them. Just let me know. They were off my dads old model T its long gone but it would be cool to see the parts go to someone is rebuilding one.

Here is a WIP Weesner inspired build that is "slowly" progressing. I've mixed a Ford LevaCar with a BeatnikBandit
Interior. The Levacar was a gluebomb I picked up at a swapmeet.
