I just hope that You guys are as lucky as i am.... I have my dream cars and i have my dream girl...... When i came home from work this sunday there was a banging sound from the garage, i rushed in to check and there were Nina in here working clothes all dirty and sitting on the floor beside the 40 hammering off the old hardened rubber from the runningboards.... Ahaa.... thats why she wondered what method one should use to strip them the other day! Today she polished the M/T covers and the other day she was hard at work sanding and painting the Impala steeringwheel. The instrumentpanel for the corvette gauges is partly made of her too. I havn't sen that many threads with girls helping out in the garage or doing their one thing but i hope that it's not that uncommon. Anyway.... she is the best.
Lucky! Mine digs the whole old car thing but I think manual labor would send her into shock! Congrats though!
It's nice to see a girl who's NOT posing in front of a car, that's a rare thing around here with all the pinups and other photos that fly around within our culture...take good care of her man...
Not especially common, but you would be surprised at how many girls there are on the HAMB that work on their own projects/cars etc. Some of us don't even wear gloves! I hope you let her drive them too Timely safety reminder: If you don't wear gloves when working in the garage please remove ALL rings.
get her some gloves that fit her, Christmas is coming up, maybe she would like some mechanix gloves in her stocking...
How do you go about shipping one of those to the states. I am in need of one of those hard working women.

I thought America was in part founded on capitalism........ why would we not wanna sell our stuff to anyone that would pony up the money? if they are in China, Sweden, Australia, or whereever........top dollar gets the product. maybe I am tainted cause I take out all the cool toys from Japan and sell them to people here in the states! ha

She needs her own car....perhaps she might like a 1947 Olds convertible to work on?? In any event please mention the Ladies of the HAMB social group and have her join if she is interested. You might have to "ship" one in but you shouldn't have to look THAT far...there are plenty of us in the midwest.
