not sure whats going on with those spot lights..
anyways cool A..these are just my opinions and dont mean shit..its your car do it your way

hope you keep the fenders..again my personal like for them

  3. looks like the roof is filled , i like a stock type vinyl top on A's. yes , get rid of that gas door

Needs the wheels chromed, then your choice of open/bullets/baby moons...wheels need to come forward some in back...black naugahyde replaced white in the early '60's inside, so your choice...cowl lights right side up or gone...
Engine can be done '60's style easily. One way is just get hold of an early Vette resto catalog...Corvette ignition wire looms, valve covers, and aircleaner and some pre-1975c Chevy distributor and you would be done. Even better would be dual quads with Vette air cleaners...

  6. Keep the fenders. Chop the top a tad. Ditch the third brake lite, the gas door, and the cowl lamps. Add a hood and some baby moon hub caps. Hit the road.

With fenders and a big rake, stock top height will work better and look more '60's.

Do Not Chop The Top! Chrome reverse wheel ,Blue Met.paint blue & white Int. Whats the deal with the cowl lights? Are they on the wrong sides or broke. Lose the high back bucket seats!

Agree with the rest re fenders, drip rails, seats etc.

    Is that a chrome visor?

How about a front view, the headlights look awful low!

    Just my ideas

    Add raingutters.
Either mount the cowl lamps right side up and on the correct sides or get rid of them...that upside down deal is silly and looks horrible.
The gas door is way over-sized, change it or remove it and just have a grommet, pipe & cap showing.
The 58 BelAir taillamps are OK for your 60s look. The 3rd brakelight is a safety item, but a 30s-40s-50s style light would be better.
Cap the wheels to cover the 10-lug hole center.
    Paint with high gloss.
    Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

Try to get the two early '60's Petersen books on Model A's!
Flush doors were being done then...I think by actually cutting and stretching the body slightly! Aside from the trend of the time to custom showcar look (Imperor, Ala Kart), fenders and tall tops were in...for Model A's, "cute" and "Uncle Daniel" stock but severely raked look were in. Look at Arin Cee's daily driver A...
Yours is a really good starting poin that needs to be detoxed of streetrod stuff.
Heavy chops were an east coast thing, made more to make the car look modified than to make it look better.

I'd leave the gas door. What the heck. Blue rims with chrome baby moons and a red stripe on the bead. Primer with gloss Blue 1' checks, to match the back windows, going back to a point not past the cowl.

I don't mind the tail lights, but the gas door looks out of place. drip rails will break up the roof.
    good car, have fun

In addition to removing all of the above mentioned stuff:

I'd put a small chop on the roof, like 2" or 3", but get a donor roof to put on it in the process. That way you'd get the drip rails and insert back.

    And some tall-n-skinny bias-plies.

The gas door would not stand out as much with a dark color.
