    Great-looking car . Nice score !

  2. My point exactly. They are mighty peppy off the line, same as model A engines. Clean it up and drive it. Mild upgrades to the banger and little things but to where she can be put back if desired to original still.-Weeks

Great find! Just what I have been looking for in a Fordor...old paint and a decent interior.

I'd follow along the lines of remdam's build...

...and you'll have a winner. Wheels, tires, stance....then drive and have fun.

    Keep us posted.

  7. I have the twin to your car except with about 187K miles. Mine is headed for a restoration and hope yours is also. If you are considering restoring it get a copy of the book about 1932 Fords from the Early Ford V8 Club (earlyfordv8.org). You will learn to like that 4 cylinder motor. Post your questions.

Very nice car! Congratulations. I lean toward the ideas expressed here about keeping the car the way it is for a while, driving it, and getting to know what it is you want.

Vince Falter, over on the Fordbarn, has a B Fordor, and his website has lots of information about the ‘32 Ford. I don’t think we ever have too much knowledge about any given thing, and sites like this can help you sort out your plans.

Good luck with the car, and enjoy! GA

Great find. Since you became a deuce owner you seem much taller and your shoulders seem much broader than before.

Very nice find. The front fenders with fender wells (where spare tires sit) have become extremely rare. I hope you keep it as close to what it is now if possible. Keep it and buy a car that needs a lot of work for one to cut on. Just my opinion..

Ford didn't switch to all V8's until 1935......

    But rare doesn't always = desirable. :)

I'm guessing the old Fordor gave up it's front fenders to another 32...being it had a rear mounted spare. It probably had a cherry pair of smooth fenders before...

I'm not positive but V8's where the only option here in Canada. Never seen a 4 or a 6 up here.

Juice brakes, dropped axle, 40 ford steelies on blackwall big and littles. Done!

  19. Clean it, but don't restore it cause it is much to nice to restore.
Not a fan of 4-bangers, but my Model A also have one and it is running
so nice i don't want to replace it with a V-8 flathead, so if it is running okay
    keep it.

I think a violin case and double breasted suit are all thats needed to complete this car.

Actually, they're very desirable to restorers.....That's why I said that. If he wasn't going to use them he could get a good return on selling these fenders and putting the money towards his car.I believe the "standard" 4 cylinder series cars came with smooth fenders as well as no cowl lights.........:)

Yes I believe the fenders are not original to this car as it has a back mounted spare. Maybe the guys used them on another car.

I'll probably paint and leave them, they are pretty nice fenders condition-wise.
