Me and a bud are starting a new prodject. A T roadster drag car. Its not a HA/GR car , but is similar to these type of frames. So my question is how do you all bend your tubeing for the roll cages? With a hyd. jack bender? Also , picture of cages would be nice for referances. Thanks James

I borrowed a JD2 (squared) bender. It worked very well. Too expensive for a single project though. Suggest you get a NHRA rule book to be sure your cage will p*** tech. Good luck with your project.

I can't find it in the HAMB archives anymore but Sam Strube's ( SamIAm) BFD has to be a good reference starting point .

It might be easier and cheaper for you to buy tubing already cut and bent.I bought a funny car cage for my 27 and it was pretty easy.
Any race car ch***is builder like Alderson or S&W can help you.
Sorry guys for taking your HA/GR thread.
