I just finished a website I have designed and implemented for Lebeef Kustom Metal Works last week.
This is not traditional art in any way... but since I have been able to mix my passion for photo, design and php I guess you can call it modern day art :)

Check out the site here, and be amazed of the nice work LeBeef does too, he's a metal artist from the deep woods of Sweden: www.lebeefkustoms.com

Wow, I sign on at 6:30am thinking to be one of the first and already a whole page of great artwork. Here's my offering for the week. My first attempt at doing a digital chop and section.

  21. Killer 'vette rod Gary! Nice snaps fellas. My brain can't absorb all that color Dustin. Maybe after some sleep.

I'm working through an all-nighter. Can't recall last time I slept more than 4 hours, heck, 3 hours...

... how about an O.T. to compliment John's cool shots? Lets say this one donated it's engine to the cause of hot rodding...

Here's what I spilled out on my digi tablet in my storyboard program at 3:00 am the other day...(I almost said night)

Finished my Hot Rod Wolf, made of clay and bondo. He is the model for a 8 foot tall one for display made of high density foam, fiberglassed and painted. Same client we did the Ratfink for.

    TGIF Fellas!
I finished up an ad for Kustoms Illustrated/ Poster for Torque Fest this week:
This one focuses on Customs both old and new (well, kinda all new in the sense that The Hirohata Merc and The Blue Danube are clones) The poster design is inspired by old car magazines like Hot Rod, Rod & Custom, Hop Up, etc. It's 11" x 17" There is a TON of detail in this and impossible to see it all online so I did a few blow ups to show some.
ABOVE: this is 1/4 the detail level. You can start to see the dot matrix halftones of the design if you look very carefully.
Here is a 1 to 1 detail level of the same parts as above and it really starts to show all the details that I got into on this poster. I can't wait to see the printed version!

    vintagetorquefest.com

Also, I just finished up a logo for B & B Towing in Bossier City, LA. They have a couple of tow trucks being converted over to COE on modern machinery below and wanted an Art Deco like logo to fit. After several variations of it, the final product is this:

Enjoy the weekend. I've gotta do a brake job on my truck now to get it ready for the marathon trip to Texas to pick up my '29 speed coupe body. I'm excited!

These are AutoCAD blocks that I have either edited or created. I think it is art???

The 36 at the top was solely created by me.
The coupe below is hevily modified from the block I found (based the wheels off of a Radir).
The Buick is a four door with shaved rear doors.
The Impala was spawned from the idea of making an ElCamino out of a four door car.
The Vette is out of scale.

Nothing great I just wanted to participate.
