Event Coverage Mooneyes Caravan,Dec 12~~~ANYBODY????

I'm planning another Caravan to Mooneyes. Same meeting place,same time,same route!

Meeting place:
ARCO Station at Imperial Hwy & 57 frwy
(east side of frwy)

Time:
5am!!!! leaving at 5:30 SHARP!!!

Route:
57 frwy(north) to 60 frwy(west) to 605 frwy(north) Exit at the racetrack.

So...who wants to join us? RSVP here or PM me,i'll start a list.
Last year we got split up! NOT this year!
I'll be setting up Camp HAMB,EZ-up,table and chairs. If we pull in together we can all park together,if you chose to.

Badluck, Madpole and I were talking about going. Possible to meet up somewhere near the 60/57 for us to join up? It would be a second stop for you but could just be an off and on at an exit in the area....

 

Sure! Guys joined us on the frwy last year. Only takes about 15 mins to get to the 60,so plan on around 5:45 or so. I don't drive very fast,between 60-65,so you should catch us easily.

 

Would we all be able to drive in together even though my slacker butt didn't pre-register?? Otherwise I think we can find you on the fwy.

I was getting scarred....I thought I was going to be that creepy guy hanging out in front of your house and making your neighbors nervous...because there was no party!!!! just you in a orange speedo and a mesh shirt peeking out the window wondering why I was hanging out on your lawn!!!! all is good now!!!!

Hey Bob, can we still drive in and park together if some of us pre-reg'd and some didnt? I dont remember if there was separate lines last year or not... I'll be there with the rest of the desert boys bright and early!

Last year, there was a separate line for pre-registered, but Irwindale PD made a lot of the pre-registered go to the unregistered line. The problem seemed to be all the trailered race cars clogging the lines.

 

I sent in my money already, and got my plane tickets. Johnny Sparkle and I are gonna hop off the plane, and go pick up the Atomic Punk and head up there. Is there a hotel nearby we should get a room at? What/where does everyone go afterwards?

Last year was a clusterfuck,like always. Everybody was mixed in together! All we can do is try to park together...
