id have to say that would be one of my happiest days if TRJ and ROD AND CUSTOM picked it up.I was originally trying to get the car done for the sac autorama but dont think its gonna make it. i am definetly hoping to get this car to the GNRS. im only building this car after hours and on weekends so it makes it hard to meet deadlines like that. im gonna build the car in primer first, put 500 miles on it and make sure it all works then blow it all apart. thanks for the encouraging words, they go along way.

Killer build. Glad to hear you're going for a usable stance, not dropping the frame rails on the ground. Looks really great, thanks for the updates.

HERE ARE A FEW PICS OF THE CAR RAISED UP 3" IN FRONT AND 2" IN THE REAR AS JEFFREY SUGGESTED. I THINK IT SITS ALOT BETTER. THIS IS THE CAR WITH ALL THE AIR OUT OF THE BAGS SO UP IS THE ONLY OPTION FROM HERE. I WAS THINKING ABOUT BRINGING THE FRONT UP JUST A BIT MORE BUT I GOTTA REALLY SIT THERE AND STARE AT THE CAR FOR AWHILE AND VISUALISE IT IN MY HEAD. I ALSO NEED TO START LINEING UP THE FENDERS SO THAT DOESNT THROW ME OFF.

Any suggestions on caps to run? Not sure if im gonna run these, and also does anyone have caps that would look rad on here and are cherry i can buy from you? Im also looking for tear drop bubble skirts and a nice set off appleton 552's that can be fully operable. I have the left and right brackets for my car already. I want these fully functional.

May you all have a awesome and blessed sun.

Thank you very much buddy. I try very hard to better myself daily. Im trying very hard to follow the footsteps and dreams of the guys i look upto. I believe with out change there is no differance. Little by little i better my work daily and keep my heart humble and open minded to better educate myself. If you keep a pridefull mind you set a barrier for learning. I kindly thank you for the awesome compliment, it means alot to me.

Lookin' good Skoty. I've always wondered why more people don't utilize these Plymouths, they look just as good as the Fords of the same era. Definetley looks better raised a few inches. Keep up the good work, I always look forward to seeing progress on this car.

Im also planning on filling in the roof and give it just a bit more of a bubble. I believe this will help with the continues lines im trying to make. I made the steering wheel the same angle as the back of the roof so everything on the car has a relationship with another part or line. Ive also clocked every bolt on my motor so they all match. Just stuff that goes threw my mind.

I finally got the car to steer this weekend but still need to finish the brackets and stuff. Hit me up and lets get the dinner plans rolling.

Yeah looking for possibly something older. Thought about sombreros but alot of guys use them and wanted to run something you dont see to often.

  24. absolutely timeless. I looks much better sitting a little higher (never thought I would ever say that:eek:). I wish I lived closer so I could see it in person. Again, absolutely timeless.

Awesome Skoty!!! It looks awesome where it is but if you wanted it could even come up a bit more.

What about 1952 Mercury Caps with your choice of center.

  26. That would look killer. Maybe with the old Plymouth "boat" emblem in the center?

Obviously these ripple covers would be cool too.

I was thinking of the same thing but I would not get a good picture of the center to show.

On those 52 Merc caps you could also polish or chrome the shit out of them and then where the stripes/ripples are perhaps bead blast them so it gives them some texture and slight contrast without screaming the difference.

You could paint them the color of the car if you wanted that look too but I think the bead blasted stripes would be pretty rad.

  30. Something like this? Sorry for the roughness of the photoshop
