I wondered the same thing. Looking back on the other photos, though, looks like they might have been kinda boogered in there.

The rear wheel wells had some patches s***ched in so since it will be easier to cut them out and build the new subrails for the rear and then replace the wheel wells when done...Thanks for the positive thoughts

POMPADOUR...thanks for sharing. which goe's to show there is more than 1 way to fish. i believe the are more coups here than any other car. and i can remember a time when they were very limited. i.am just saying! the herd is getting very large, the same thing happened with g***ers in the 60s...POP.

I Like the chop. What's the story on the frame? Who built it, and is it flattened on top to mate with the A coupe body?

Frame is from Pete and Jakes...The frame was ordered pinched and they sent a unpinched frame....Sooo we need to pinch the frame to fit and then it will get a slight channel at the firewall to get rid of the "gap".

The chop looks great!! How much did you actually take off? I'm guessing 4". I have a 30 coupe that going under the knife here pretty soon-have to fab new quarters and a rear pan for it first-this is exactly the heighth I think looks great on these cars. Frame looks good too! Keep us posted!

you do that to keep to keep somewhat of a back window and to move it around if you want, alot of back windows are done this way. Looks killer, doesn't it!
