I really don't want to know. These FNG's are funny though. Please don't ask to see rats, we see enough already.

  7. A junk rod?

I'm currently trying to get a beater truck on the road. As i have nothing to drive. Then I can get back to my real love.

But I'm pretty sure that a street rat is a junk rod. I could be wrong.

Street Rats was the final studio album released in 1975 by the English rock group Humble Pie. The album went to #100 on the Billboard 200 album :D

Working on the 55 in my avatar. Currently finishing up the disc brake conversion then onto blasting the rest of the frame and re-wiring the car.

  14. I used to have a Newfoundland that loved to snap rat's necks in the barn, then he wanted nothing to do with them. Rats are scary man.

Just dragged this home yesterday, taking a break from Doodlrodz and just going to play with this for a while. Someone did a nice job of building it far as I can tell, real rugged rear axle and just one trans, has a fairly low eng. # in the 500,000 range which I think puts it as a Oct. '28 build date. Supposed to run but you know how that goes, don't plan to do too much to it other than getting it going and havin' some fun with it.

First thing I have to do is get the chains off so I can push it around myself, then maybe some aggressive rubber for the back but staying pretty much Traditional.

This is the next one. Picked it up in 2007. Purchased a TCI rolling ch***is for it last year and have a '65 327 ci and a 700R4 for it. Going to leave the fenders on and not chop the top, pearl white RP with red metal flake piping interior. I also have a '59 Impala steering wheel that will be red metal flake and pearl white. Leaning towards suede black exterior with soft top and red wheels rings and WW tires. The body is in pretty good shape, not a dent on the body or doors but needs lower cowl panels and has pin hole rust along the bottom of the doors and rear quarters. Some time in its life it got a white vinyl interior and and a metal roof that is leaded in (I think that is what saved the interior). It also has a metal inline canister fuel filter on it (Anybody know when these started being used?) and a sealed beam headlite conversion kit. Will start painting the frame and suspension after Thanksgiving, the plan is to have it done in a year.

My 59 Ranchero is my main priority this winter, if time allows or agrivation factor kicks in I will work on 442 to see what engine sickness is , I think a few bent valves. May even ***emble front clip on ELCamino so it's back on road at least. Depends on money and what other poepl drag in for me to work on .
