Hey Sled, Thanks for the shout back. Please do let me know if you have parts for the Taco. RF fender, hood, and splash pan for the body parts. I would also like to get some lower control arms, spindles and upper arms/shock as well. The lowers are especially important to find from a dry place as they are sheet metal and prone to rust through. New member here. Found this thread while poking around on Camaros.net and read a story about the Dana Camaro that was found. What a cool stash of vintage iron still hiding in Mexico. Here in NH there are a couple places I know of where there are a few old cars hiding in the woods but oof course with our winters they are just artwork now. WAY too far gone to be of any use to anyone other than pics to put on a calandar. Curious about the reference to the Mysterion being found. Doing a Google search comes up with lots of hits but they all say it's never been found and was wrecked & scrapped MANY years ago. The only one I've seen in existence is a clone. Has the real one been located in Mexico ? Are there any "as found" pics anywhere ?
Do a search here on the HAMB. It was found minus the bubble and the front piece sitting in front of a store basically being used as a garbage can. It has been restored and was in the mags not that long ago.
I have a friend thats looking for vw buses, how much for the one in the picture, how much for one of the 36 three windows ? I live in tijuana and have draged a lot of stuff from Mexico .
I'm sure theres a pile of bodies in the trunk, people that had the same idea. 2dr or 4dr, that car is still an icon.

From Sled: Well,my buddy had some other junk layin around in the same garage where the 60M&M sits, so i took some quick shots at this truck,interesting..i never seen another one like this.He told me it's a Dodge or Mopar somethin,dont remember honestly..a woodie too,he mentioned Campbell boby...or Cantrell???Anyone here have some more info?? more from Sled: Ok fellas,since we're gettin bored here for your enterteinment another (i lost the count already) 3w 36 layin around waitin patiently to be fixed..actually i know this car since couple years but i lost track til with my surprise i found it here in this shop couple days ago...i tried to buy it long ago but no chance..as we speak im not sure if i can get it but i know the owner has no money to fix it and rumours are he was probably sellin it...i cant confirm it yet,but i was quite happy to locate it again anyway...i've seen worse projects,this has great hope...
Magoozi,is very hard to say a price on a specific car due to many factors..they have to be analized case by case when they show up for sale...many factors to deal with... yeah,there are VW buses as well 3w stuff as you see...but depends what comes up specifically...better i PM you so we can talk a bit about that more deeply and focused....
Anybody will chime in for more specific infos on this Mopar truck woodie??? C'mon guys...this is Hamb,lot of knowledge here...i know we got some experts around...feel free to join,thanks in advance...curious to know more!!
Message from Sled: Been in Df to a lunch with a bunch of car nuts,mostly old fellas...and after the coffe one of those friends invited me to his house to show him his long time owned 36 Dodge coupe project...well,it looked to me pretty much solid overall...it caught my attention the 6 wheel option in a short coupe,unusual but factory....also it's stock equipped with artillery rims...my buddy lost interest in this car and is just collecting dust since long time...too bad,does'nt take so much to get this done but we all know how it goes....

May be a 1941 Plymouth truck front is closer or the Fargo export. The blue one is a Plymouth and the Blue and Black one is a Fargo
hey man...ill give you that the cuban cars are really torn up, and anywhere tropical with high humidity is not the ideal place to get a restorable car (not just cuba, hell even miami!)...but thats the only stuff the cuban people have to work with...they dont have anything down there like parts stores or junkyards cause the government is so twisted and wrong down there if you get anything new, lets say a part for a car, the government will jail you, ask questions how you came about getting that part were you got the money all while beating you...you have to give it to them for being so ingenious to come up with tools, parts and anything they can to keep the cars on the road...its more than hot rodding or car culture as a lifestyle...its cars for survival! if I were to get a car from cuba, I would leave it as is...just for the sake of history, and sentiment, like if you find an original hotrod from the 40s or 50s, you wouldnt want to chop it all up would you? you would want to preserve its history, what the car ment to the original hot rodder, how well it was known, all the hell it raised..etc ...God bless the cubans for all their efforts and preservation...
thats one hell of a find!...i found a running 2dr 1958 impala for $2000 about 2 years ago in tijuana...wish i had the money at the time, also found a 59 caddy, an original model A, and a bunch of vintage trucks in some guys front yard down there as well, seems that mexico is a gold mine just waiting...I later found out that transferring or obtaining a US title was not that difficult if you want to transfer the car..a friend of mine bought a 69 camaro for $2500 transfered the title and is now restoring the car.
