Okay, this one woke me up last night and got me thinking.
Has anyone ever made a 3 window coupe out of a 30- 31?

A little length in the doors, fill in the side windows, angle the doors and windshield.... I'm sure someone out there's done this... ANYONE?

Looks non-Ford. I guess that's not necessarily bad, but I'd never look at it and think "Woah... a Model A 3 window".

I've seen that car, and I never even noticed it.

It looks alright I guess, but I wouldn't do it.

Maybe you'd be better off to find a sport coupe than **** up a 5-window. I'd give a testicle this minute (with anesthesia of course) to own a solid one... 5 window that is.

There was a pretty wild A coupe that has had its door pillar removed, while still having the opening for the quarter window. Kinda crazy looking.

Was a late 60s-70s show rod. There were pictures of it on a trailer at a swap meet, along with pictures in its heyday. Anyone remember the car or have a picture? I want to say it was brown/black with gold.

*edit - oookay, do a quick search next time*

Might as well get a Chevy 3W of the same time period.... that what the 3-windows look like to me. That is, unless you've got the car already.

Theres a gl*** one here in Australia.

  12. Why not just find one of the four or so factory 3 window 30s that Ford built?

  13. There were a couple running around in Australia back in the late 60's that am pretty sure were made from a sport coupe......tho' may have been 28/29 versions......as we never got any A coupes apart from some sport coupes......andyd

  14. It was actually 6 and Henry ordered them all destroyed. Interesting thing is a gentleman went back east back in the 50's I believe and found a 3 window "Factory" model A on a used car lot. Bought it brought it back to San Francisco, California and he drove the damn thing alot. One day a fella spotted it sitting on the street and pestered the man for 15 years to buy the car. Eventually the persistent fella acquired the car and it is still in his possession. I heard this from my buddy who restores stock Model A and has been in the know for 20+ years and has seen the car in person all its faded orginalness.-Weeks

I always wondered why no one made a panel that would replace the visor & make it look like a 32 roof!!How that for an idea ? lol (pretty sure there out there somewhere).
Or better yet a air freshener that looks like a handicap permit!!
