OK I'll bite. Why did you chrome half your bumper?

  3. Is that a spray on coating? Looks pretty shiny!

I'll take "Display piece for a chrome vendor" for $500, Alex.

If I didn't see it with my own two eyes...

I suspecting you've put a LOT of time into the prep work before spraying the bumper. Do you do "typical" body work with hammer/dolly/bondo before spraying it?

  17. ok I'm interested, whats the address for the meth-lab so i know where to send my parts.

  18. looks pretty good.
which rig did you purchase and in your limited experience, do you wish you had bought a different one?

Wow, what incredibly informative thread. What the fuck would you bother?

  22. Yes, just typical body work. On this one, it was blasted to clean bare metal, then some etching primer, a skim coat of filler, and a few rounds of 2k primer, finished out in 1000 grit. I should've spent some more time on prep, but I was in a hurry.

  23. I went with the full HVT package, and also got an extra gun setup for larger pieces. So far, so good, I guess. It helps that I am only an hour away from Spectra Chrome's facility, so I can get help/materials when I need it.

  24. I can get more pics tomorrow, they're in my office computer.
