Hell if you get Mcalpines cross the street and say hi! I live 1 block away. No Mexican?!? Thats blaspheme in these parts! Seriously though we have lots of great places all over town. You said Italian - downtown Scottsdale, main and Scottsdale road The Italian grotto. Nice and close, not too expensive, excellent food.

Denise, Make sure you reserve some time for a visit to the Biltmore Hotel, and for me, any trip to Phoenix means another trip out to Taliesan West.....there are some unreal private Frank Lloyd Wright houses in the area as well....any more of those `special` sick days we talked about left?

We will be at MacAlpines this Friday night. I guess they are having a cruise night starting December 4th and then starting next year every Friday or something. They don't have much of a parking lot but I guess the parking will be across the street in a church lot. Should be fun.........

You must have forgotten the part about me growing up in SanDiego with my mother learning to cook from the Mexican neighbor ladies in the 60's & 70's. I don't even like the smell of the spices.

Thanks for the BBQ suggestion. When the time gets closer we'll make plans to head there for dinner.

This place sounds good too. Thanks for the heads up.

and for desert we have root beer floats!

I don't hang out much in Scottsdale. There is a Tilted Kilt on Gilbert Rd just south of the 60 that is close to me. I prefer the Tilted Kilt at the Rio in Vegas though !

Prolly three times a week for me including last night...I got the worst fucking indigestion right now! Haha!
    Avoid the chips and salsa!

I like how this turned into a where to eat thread:D

Save a little money for gas and eat a Churro and a country burrito from Los Bees for like 6$.
Strip clubs aren't for dining. They always smell funny and I've seen a guy who was a cook at one:eek:

Never tried most of these places. And for some reason the Funyons and Diet Dr. Pepper are not cutting it for me right now.........
