    Another thing I noticed is that it doesn't have the raised windshield into the roof like the Matranga Merc. I like both! [​IMG]

    Check the reflections on the handbuilt top.Rudy is a magician.One of the smoothest black paintjobs ever once it is wet-sanded and buffed.Scott and Dante,you guys do an incredible job !

    "The idea on this car has always been to make it look like the factory built it, not a custom shop in Los Angeles. There are plenty of those already, the world doesnt need another one. We were shooting for a car that may have been on the international show circuit by the factory just before the Second World War. A car FoMoCo may have sent to Europe to compete against the European design houses."

    "The chassis is a fully detailed bone stock 1940 Mercury. The engine will be as if it rolled off the factory floor last week, as is the trans and the Columbia overdrive rear end. The monkey motion that makes the whole system work was totally gone through and put back on the car. Should I have ditched it for a 9 inch.... yeah, probably. I was most likely drunk when I decided to keep all that crap on the car. I am happy we did now though."
