Thanks for posting these.Gray Baskerville was one of my Heros.Years ago before the city of Oakland gave away the Roadster Show it was celebrating its 50th year.I went that year so that I could some of the milestone cars I grew up with and this was one of the cars I wanted to see The Hirohata merc,Ala Cart, the Alexander Bros Cars...........but no Baskerville 32.I later read a story about how he had been invited to the show, drove down from L.A only to be turned away and not allowed to enter his car in the show.
Wow, what a collection. I keep coming back to this post and was surprised tonight to see my own car...thanks.
I hope it isn't too small. It's my buddies all original steel, dynoed 670 horse big block, 5speed roadster
I thought about putting the tank back on,but dont think I will, and I just bought some wheels that look just like Halibrands, but were made by american racing,so Im running those with blackwalls next summer.
My Pal Jack Fuller's 32. To quote my next door neighbor Tom Meers, long time Philadelphia Modifier and vintage Deuce owner and builder par excellence "This is what a 32 Roadster is supposed to look like"
(Sorry to go off topic for a bit: Please post a pic of that truck in the truck thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=407080)
