Maybe I'm not the first to offer congrats here (I did search), but I wanna say hat's off and a huge "Atta Boy!" to Hot Rod Packard (another Brian too!) for gracing this months "HOT ROD" magazine. Cover AND centerfold, wow! What a nice feature, congratulations. Great job!

One of those cars that gives you a mental tuneup when you really LOOK at it and see it drive. It's worth a second look, too.

    Brian,

    Great job. Great build.

I have been watching this car for some time.

Plus the Hamb gets even more recognition.

    The article says central Utah.

Here's a photo I took at the Nugget parking lot during Speed Week 2009

Bad ***, my mail man got stuck at the bottom of the hill and walked my copy to the door... That's some serious dedication...

    Always liked that Packard mill!!!

  18. Cool! I like the car, he's got a ton of pics on his profile page.

Haha.... This snow storm is ********!! :) They haven't plowed my neighborhood yet, and I have the feeling it'll be a while. Didn't make it into work today and can't go anywhere until they do...

Yup, it ****s... Didn't get to work either (got tons of work to do though!), couldn't get the plow tractor started, and by the time I did the neighbor had our driveway plowed..... Still can't make it into town the rest of the road is covered... I think you'll probably get cleared out in town before they ever get out here to Ponca Hills...

  24. Thank you every one for great comments. the shoot was originaly slated for Hot Rod Deluxe but when the shoot was sent to Frieburger, he said it was going to Hot Rod! I thought that was great, but the COVER? never would have thought it in a million years. I want to say thanks to every one that ever gave me parts or helped with the "Project Packard" engine build this last summer.
It has been fun as hell. There is a story to how the shoot happend that I will share later.

Good job Brian. We all give you a lot of **** but if we didn't we wouldn't care would we! That is cool as hell. I wish I lived closer to everyone in SLC so I could learn from all you guys. There is a lot of talent in SLC that most people just don't know about and finally someone gets some recognition. You deserve it man. When it gets warmer we all need to go for a nice cruise again. I didn't get to make it out with anyone this year.
