A friend of a friend of mine just got a hookup where she is going to be doing some work as a suicide girl (aka http://************.com/ ****) . She is building her profile and wants to use my truck in a photo shoot. Never had this happen before and wasn't even sure if I should ask for money or any rights to pics or anything. Since she will be using it on a pay for membership site wasn't sure either. Just looking for some opinions as I am sure you guys have been there before.
that's when she takes your ride and does a grand canyon jump with it. thelma and louise style. hell, you should just be happy to help her out. might be something in it for you.

Good idea. We deal with the SG's a lot at work. We just recently ran one on the cover of Tattoo Revue which will hit stands in a couple weeks. This is all off topic unless we get some pics....of your truck hahaha!!!
Once she submits those photographs, they become the property of ************, whether they are published, or not. Even she won't have rights to them, Personal use only. That isn't to say that she shouldn't at least give you a few of them, considering that it is your truck. Staff usually doesn't have an issue with that, just so long as you aren't trying to publish them. I have been a member there for a little over 5 years. It is a cool site, filled with a LOT of very cool people. No, it isn't something to check out at work. Two of the girls were at the shop yesterday teaching a pinup girl cl***. Bettina and Jules. Absolute sweethearts!
You should just be glad that she likes your trunk enough to use it, and be honored to have her use it for exposure of your ride. Just be happy and run with it!
Heres my sedan used in a photo shoot for a high school's baseball team. Like I told the kid, "Your music's not too loud, its just like OKC, it ****s!"

Nothing like a jerk adding his completely irrelevant opinion to a thread that didn't ask for it. Wait who was looking for attention? Congrats on the photo opportunity Chappy, definitely make sure you get a few pictures out of it! But other than that just having your truck show up there should be reward enough!
My truck was in a shoot last weekend. I scored $50 and copies of the choice shots. That was just a local pinup photographer. SG should comp you. All that being said, I'd be happy with the pics, but demand they give you a few high res ones for framing.
I wouldn't expect/ask too much in the form of payment. Last spring I had my car used in a local film. They were nice guys and very low budget so I didn't even ask them for the $75 they offered me to use the car. They ended up pretty much forcing me to take a couple of twentys for gas money though. I figured they were nice guys, didn't have a ton of money and it was fun to have my car in a movie. Two summers ago The Coen brothers (Oscar award winners, No Country For Old Men, Fargo, big time- Hollywood folks) were filming a movie here in the Twin Cities. Their "car scout" guy approached me at a car show about using my truck in the movie. Now for that big-budget type of deal I would have expected to be compensated. If it's just some nice people, not too inconvenient for you and it's not being used commercially to fatten their wallets I'd be very minimal in my requests- maybe a couple of photos. Jay
Cool guys thanks for all the input. That's what I figured I will just ask for copies of pics and post em here. It would be cool to have my truck in something like that and it did shock me at first cause the ol truck is in semi construction state.
