Thanks, ARCA Guy. I'm sure Copley's son appreciates those. I do, too, because I keep a file on old ARCA photos. John Mar*** was the first one to hire me as a "traveling" official, and I've always had a soft spot for the series.
The #33 was built by Stan Yee from the Detroit Area and driven by John anderson also from the Detroit area,,,I am pretty sure they won this race arnold from detroit.
JOY FAIR is STILL going Strong! He still has his auto reapair shop in Pontiac Michigan, and wrenches on cars everyday at over 75 years old! Still loves to talk about racing. Danny Byrd was driving for the late Stan Yee in the Marty Robbins 500. He won the event with relief help from Canadian Junior Hanley. I think Byrd also set fast time for the race as well! Great shot!
