    Took this a few years back in Melbourne, Florida. Had it blown up and carried it with me to the '08 LA Roadster's Show in hopes of getting it signed. Wouldn't ya know it, ZZ was on tour and in Macon, GA that night. Happy Birthday Mr. Gibbons, and many more.

    A year or two ago here in San Diego, Billy was visiting a local guitar store where he knew the owner for decades, and was ********ing with him when a couple of twelve year old boys walked in. The two kids walked in and were oogling the guitars displayed on the wall, and pointing at them and talking between themselves. Billy noticed them, walked up to them, and asked them if they could own any guitar on the wall, which would they choose? The kids had no clue who he was, and each pointed to different models.

    Billy asked the owner of the store to pull them down off the wall, Billy signed them, and gave them them to the kids. The kids still didn't know who Billy was until they took the guitars home, and showed their parents. Of course, the parents went down to the store to see if this generous gift was for real. They were told by the owner that someone had once given Billy a guitar when he was a kid, and he did this sort of thing every once in awhile. Just "paying it forward"....

    THAT is one cool dude.
