The 3W without cowl lights is mine ... The man who owns the 3W ... closest to the camera ... also owns another 3W ... this one. I heard he sold the original 3W at the Dawsonville Moonshiner event this year for BIG $$$.
I dont think Mine is worthy yet fellas. However, Im adding to to the thread anyway. It will take me some time before i can start to afford to build it.
Geez!!!!!!! I'm glad i started this thread. never new there was so many cool 3 windows. any old day pictures (black & white)? would be cool also!
My old car, sold around 1990/91 in Knoxville TN to a dealer from Kansas(Oklahoma maybe?) Silver paint, Appliance wires. Glass front fenders, bobbed rears, Pinto engine/trans/front suspension, louvered hood and sides, SUEDE seat/door panels....... Anybody seen/remember it? Always wondered what became of it--it had *some* California history. It had maroon fenders/chrome reverse/baby moons when I got it. Supposedly once owned by the man who invented "broasted" chicken....
Heres a couple shots of my buddy Jeff's car. Original hot rod from the early 50's believed to be built by Bo Nabb.
Killer stance ... But WHY two sets of taillights ??? And trunk equipped 32 3W's are more rare than the rumble seat 3W's
if you look real close, you will see that their is the Fender Guitar script just to the right of the Speedo. These were made in conjunction with Fender a number of years back. So Cal speed sold them, but the Tortoise Shell version has not been available for a long time. They do off the Mother of Pearl (White) and a gray version.
