just wondering what's on you older rodders' bucket list. mine still has drag racing and a trip to Speed week on it, plus building a traditional fenderless hot rod pickup. what's on yours?

  5. Get my grandson to turn his attention from tuners and drifting to hot rods....he's only eleven, so I am optimistic.

    Bonneville... not sure with what.

Long Haul tour was fun, but I want something more challenging.

Build a belly tanker and go to Speed Week. 200mph club would be a bonus. Build a car from start to finish without farming out any of the work. thats a lil bit more outlandish that the belly tanker.

I've raced at Bonneville and I have a fenderless roadster pickup. I'd like to go to the salt flats in Austrailia and some day go 200 mph.

Build a roadster from a pile of parts. I have most of the pile.

    Actually, I hope I don't need that bucket-list for a while.

    Hey...I wrote a poem!

other than finish the one I have? I'd love to own a really nice '56 Lincoln Premier... with too much engine, and enough brakes.

I hope to get my 47 Ford convertible finished within a couple of years, drive from KC to San Diego and then cruise the coast with the top down to see a good friend who lives in Seattle. About then my bucket will probably be pretty near empty.

I wanna be a bush pilot

The only fast way to do that is to take your grandson for a spin, find some kid in a tuner (be careful, many of them can beat you) and leave him in your dust!
