De Tomaso Can Am engine, all aluminum, loosely Ford inspired. Equal plane crank, can run two four six or eight cylinders - perfect for Bonneville classes - just drop a couple more pistons/rods and you're in a different class. Heron heads - valve reliefs and combustion chambers in the crown of the piston, no combustion chamber in the heads. 305 ci 7 ca 505 hp in 1964. Mechanical fuel injection by Tecalemit Jackson.

This truck with a nice big hemi was at SEMA this year. It was cool truck and motor combination. A big time sleeper for sure. That's attitude!

And copper pipe. You've gotta give credit to that. Not a lot of people can fix something with the plumbing section at Lowes.

Chrysler's old R&D department is one of the many reasons I love Mopar, my favorite "R&D"from Chrysler is them strapping a rocket engine to a Furry ( I think it was a Furry?). couldn't find a pic of it but the story was in Hot Rod magazine a couple years ago.

There is nothing better than a Ford in a Ford. Your 289 definitely has attitude.

Yup, that's attitude. Real sweet a blown nailhead in a Falcon. I love those Buick motors and with a blower, it's over the top.

  21. Certainly not the nastiest thing here, but then again, I've drove it to work probably five times in the last two weeks.

More than just shiny valve covers and a tunnel ram; she's got some attitude for a grocery getter.

But still not a SOHC Ford.

I'm a little partial to inlines. This is a 292 Chevy 6 going into a 63 Nova wagon gasser with Super T10 4 speed.
