    Very smooth and classy

I have always been a FORD fan. Had a few camaros and mustangs. I saw an ad for my current 60 Apache. We needed a hay truck and this truck screamed at me. The lines of the truck and the sculpting are amazing. I got it home and started to work on it. Friends came over...parts were given to me..Suddenly the truck is taking more shape. A nice set of baby moon style rims. A better seat. Reworked the rear bumper. Tinkeering here and there...this thing runs better every day. I park it at work with all the jags, vipers and porsches and what gets the chatter. THIS TRUCK.
I have one pic of it but will post a few more this weekend.

[IMG]Here is my one owner. Belonged to my parents since new. Poor thing never saw the inside of a garage. Since I finished bringing it back to its present condition, it noe sleeps in the garage. Its a 283 two barrel automatic (power glide) with factory power brakes and power steering.

Mine is hardly worthy compared to most of these, but I drive the wheels off it!

    Hey that truck is sharp!
Wish mine looked that good! I have the same rims. I can't wait to get my 5 speed installed. Right now its a granny 4. It"d do 60! TOP END!
But it stops and turns like a slot car.

    Hey SOB
Nice meeting you yesterday. Get the info to Big Eric on the C nothc metal requirements. I like the idea of the 60 falcon tank. 64-66 mustangs should be the same.

So far I think it was originally white. Then light blue, black and then gray.

Here is mine..... I call it the C4 C10 as it has 89 Corvette C4 front and rear suspension. Enjoy...... sorry it is not traditional but the Vette brakes would not fit rims smaller than 17" so I black powdercoated the 20" polished smoothies.

  18. Man that rear suspension system is insane...it looks wicked.

    Very cool!

You think that suspension is insane..... Seeing it in person is ridiculous. The attention to detail this guy puts into his work is setting the bar high. Even his mounting tabs are works of art. I got to see this beast scream down the road, and I think all the guts from that corvette were put to good use.

Damn it! I have been purposely ignoring this thread ever since I joined because a friend of mine has a pretty decent '63 C20 roller for sale that I don't "need" but keep eyeing. This morning I lost my will and took a peek......... as soon as I get off here I'm heading down to talk to him about it.

  24. So, did you buy it?
