A brand new Pete and Jakes deuce chassis. Better than a sweater or a pair of gloves.

A nice credit card bill. It won't come until January, so it's a post Christmas present. A gift that keeps on giving.

O/T, but I bought myself a Remington AOW "witness protection" shotgun. After some paperwork and about 6 months of waiting, I should actually have it.

  26. I've been wanting a new air compressor for some time. My "consumer grade" 60 gallon set up has not been pumping worth a*****. So I decided to get something better.

Went to the local Tractor Supply. Turns out they had a damaged-in-shipment 3 hp Ingersol-Rand in the warehouse. Easy to fix. Gave me a heck of a deal.

Loaded it up, tied it down and headed for the house nice and easy. Woman cut in front of me as a traffic light was turning from green to yellow. Then she hit the brakes. And I momentarily hit mine. Just enough to bring the compressor tank into contact with my truck cab.

The result was a $225 dent. A tad more than the discount I got. Such is life. At least I have a good compressor. And my body man friend has something to do next week.
