I am rebuilding a 60s gasser, and now am down to 1 missing part. Does anyone out there remember a race brake, I think made by drag fast, it attached to the dash and you pushed a lever with your right hand to depress the brake pedal when you were staging the car. Thanks
To new to say welcome, so here's a Hello. Are you talking about a linelock? it works with a solinoid at the brakelines. You said lever, is what you describe a manual lever valve of some type? If so i would like to here more about it. Always want to know about the passed. If it's just a line lock summit and jegs has them.
Thanks for the help. It was not line lock it was a mechanical lever that attached to the dash you pulled on the lever and it was a "3rd foot that pushed on the brake pedal" I thought it was much better than line lock as when the stage light went on you had the rpm at what ever you wanted, with line lock when you staged you then had the 3r foot some times too late
Thats cool, seen a guy once at the track in Palmdale LACR that had a lever attached to the brake pedal arm. He would just pull back to hold car from rolling. Sounds like you have a peddal car.
