Driving my moms 4runner. My mom said I could get the flat bed but the guy lives back and forth between here and oregon so its hard to get into contact with him though. I know where the truck is, its a matter of getting his approval and a bill of sale.

 

You can get your permit at 15 and a half here in California and you would have to hold it for 6 months before you can attempt the driving test. Im not sure about the rest of the US. Some states won allow a license until your 18. Im just very late to start, have had a hell of a lot going this past 2 years

 

here in Kansas starting on the 1st you have 16.5 for a restricted drivers license and 18 for the real drivers license. I'm glad it was 16 for the real one when I got mine.

In Texas, they have a home taught driving instruction thing, when you go to the DPS (or DMV in some places) they give you a test on a computer, but you don't even have to take a real driving test with a person in the car.

 

I'll give you the same advice as your math teacher:

Relax, breathe, and focus. You know how to do this, it isn't that hard. Pay attention to the details, and you will be fine.

Check your mirrors ALOT... Like every 3 seconds. Sounds dangerous, I know, but they failed me the first time for that...

 

Hold off on the burnouts and the ghost driving and you'll probably be fine. Good luck!

 

Yeah, stop behind the stop sign too, then roll forward a little if you can't see past. And make sure you stop at stop lights and not speed up at yellows, thats an automatic fail. Thats what got me the first time.

 

Good luck....I failed twice on the driving part at 16. Got the same lady DMV officer. She was a real wench. Oh well. Glad I waited till I was 18 though. Made a difference. Godspeed...

 

I had just moved into a new town and took mine WAY too soon.... its safe to say I found out that the town is chock full of one way streets!!!!!!!!
