OK i have been really trying to figure out what to do with paint on my 49. All i know is that the green on the rims, firewall and dash is staying... Can someone come up with a kool paint scheme for it? Maybe even like a lowrider scheme? Just try a bunch of ideas. THANKS>......

I didn't paint the roof olive green as you asked because I couldn't find a good spot to end the paint on the A or B pillars. I can still do it if you'd like and end the green even with the bottom of the side windows?
You'll have to send the grill parts out to the chrome shop.:D

Here's a couple I came up with, you just seem to be limited on color choices with the wheel color your going with, when trying different colors it seems that the more pastel colors work best with the wheel colors, and of course it seems silver would be a good choice too just going by the original photo.Someone else may come up with a better scheme.Hope this helps you to some degree.

Not quite, here's the colors:The body will be a black cherry candy or pearl,so it's black with a red tinge, and the roof will be almost a brandywine color,so more of a maroon than red. Bellflower tips run alongside the bottom of the rear finder, like so:

Has anyone actually built or started to build/paint/lower whatever based on the photo chopping? I know as a kid I used to take pictures and cut em up and tape together the mods I wanted before I cut the car up. Would be cool to hear from anyone building from these pics. My F/C project is on hold while work is busy, but it will happen.

This was a 2 tone that I found and changed to all white and put the stock wheels and hubcaps with wide whites and lowered, thought this could give you a good ideal.
