Maybe I'm missin' something but I never got their bikes and the show description sounds like more wasted bandwidth. Sure would be nice to have a hot rod show that's useful, informative, and maybe even educational.

Hey who knows this show might turn some little kid in detroit onto cars then 20-30 years from now he we will build the baddest HAMB friendly car that will win the riddler all because some bike guys had a tv show cutting up some metal.

I for one will be watching it just to help support the scene might wind up not being my cup of tea but at least they are doing something.

If it wasnt for Gary Howard building Jimmie V's Rivi I might still be installing car stereos for a living and riding around in minitrucks you never know what might be a good influence.

I have seen the Detroit Brother's bikes in person, In my opinion, their bike's are interesting and different but not traditional in style, such as a bobber, which I would ***ociate as a HAMB style motorcycle.
I think some of the comments about all the drama on the HAMB are appropriate, but I do understand, I think many of us, my self included, are tired of our Hot Rods being called Rat Rod and all the TV shows insulting our intelligence by the lack of substance.
Monster Garage is a perfect example, Jessie James is one of the most talented and skilled guys around, Monster Garage did not do anything to reflect his talent and skills, it was TV for the m***es. I would like to see a program just showing Jessie, or many of the other people of his skill level, just working and showing their skills, not building clown cars.

Yes I know the almighty buck rules the world and this is what sells

And yes I will watch the show, but will I watch it again?

I'll hold my critisism til tomorrow. But...not expecting anything "enlightening"...
The other new show with the weapons builders looks more interesting to me.

I'm surprised to see this thread on here anyways. Since we ALL know how much Ryan likes threads about TV shows, hahaha!

    Corn shucker thing...
Seems like someone is trying to re-invent Monster Garage!
    Donut Maker/Cop car
    Nut tree shacker
    Grave hole digger
    Spagetti maker
    etc,etc,etc....

Wouldn't be nice if they just BUILT CARS!!!!!? I loved Monster Garage cause it was new and different. This is just a sequel with a different director.
Think Jesse will watch it? hahaha! Doubt it!

I have seen your photography, I hope that kid sees your work and is inspired by it, not the type of poor craftsmanship we are talking about.

This is the HAMB, I don't mind your TV and computer are not HAMB friendly.

Wow, those are two of the ugliest, most awkward-looking motorcycles I have ever seen.

HAHAHAHA! That'll never happen! Ryan doesn't strike me as the "Look at me" type. Anybody who has been followed around by a camera knows how you can look like a dumb*** real easily! Just ask Littleman! 20 hours of footage and I guarantee you the stuff that gets on the TV is the 10 seconds you DON'T want anybody to see! I'm sure S*** would agree with me also.
    I wouldn't do it!!!!!!

NOT saying you're a dumb***,Dave!!! Just trying to make a point...

I agree 100% with you Dave the HAMB is turning into a bunch of Winnie little *****es who spend more time sitting in front of there computers then out in there shops working on there cars if they even have a car.

I will watch it and support it

Detroit needs all the help it can get just the fact that they filmed it here help put about 40 people to work.

I know of 4 Hambers that were on it me included so lets stop the hating and support our brothers! and the great city of DETROIT!!!!!!!

I'll be watching Little Chocolatiers on TLC instead. Midgets making chocolate. Waaaay more potential there for entertainment.

I take all the bike, custom car shows with a grain of salt. Shows like this are for the huge general public watching them and most don't know **** about the building anything. Big *** ratings. Can't blame the Tuttels, or Jesse James for doing the golden goose shows. You can bet your ****, Paul Senior rolls his eyes at some of those projects. Hell, look at his personal stuff. He's got some real nice stuff. Reflects what makes him fuzzy.
Jesse?.....very talented hands on guy. What can i say.
These shows aren't geared for guys like us. But we watch them anyway....don't we. I probably will. Gotta admit thou, i do pick up a pointer or two.
Speaking of the HAMB, i've only been here for a month or two and overall it's great. Great projects going on, great info, tips, etc. But some of you guys are right. The self proclaimed Hamb police realy gets on my nerves. I know of a few very talented builders here and rarely post because of the feedback one can endure from some here sometimes. I'm starting to feel like i'll just put my 'HAMB' plaque on my computer, not on the car for fear of retribution from some pissed off Hamb hater who had a bad experiance here. I've never seen anything like it.
Other than that.....it's a very cool site.

  21. WTF?? If it's about building cars I'll give it the benifit of the doubt and watch it. As far as the 28 29 model T thing it's just a promo thing comming from a bunch of pencil necks who don't know anything about hot rods or cars in general. I wouldn't judge the show on that. I've tuned in to some pretty good shows and some pretty bad ones, I will say that we're about due for a good one, I hope this is it. I agree that a little less drama and a lot more building would be nice. Well time to tune in!

Ten minutes in and I already got a drama alert. Time to turn the sound down and toss on some B. B. King.

If it ends up like the "rendering", I'll be disappointed.

Why does all these have to have "drama" one family member ******* off the other. I know that's real life but come on I watch this **** to get away from it. It makes sense why Jesse got away from the Discovery Channel drama theme.

This is just another Orange County Chopper dysfunctional family builds something, oh well beats anything else on.

these type shows always piss me off. I like the idea of the show, then the producers throw in bogus deadlines, and needless "drama" and **** up a good show.
