I bought a couple of these wheels at a swap meet recently and am hoping someone could help me identify them. They are 19 x 3.5 and have nipples instead of a welded wheel. They are 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern and have some numbers stamped on the back side. The ones easiest to read say BUDD 22782 and have a date of 9 31, There are some other numbers but are harder to read. Does anyone know what these came off of? Any help would be appreciated.

I have been searching the net for clues and think they are 1931 Dodge Brothers. Does anyone know of a person or website that may be able to give more info?

    I think 32 Plymouths had a 19" wire with 5 on 5.5 pattern...

I think you're right. some '31 Dodge models have them as well. Heavier spokes than Ford 17's, 18's. Anyone running them on a hot rod? I wonder if these were ever used on the lakes pre 1940?
