Who the fuck are you kidding?? Gas hasn't been 1.39 in "Tax-achusettes" in 8 yrs!! in 2007 it was about 4.25 a gallon.
Get it together FNG!! good way to start off on here!!
It seems that the going price is about 2.60 a gallon, not too good, not too bad.
It'll go up in the spring when we all start driving more!!lol

You can go to www.gasbuddy.com and look up gas prices anywhere in the US and Canada. It's handy if you want to find the cheapest gas in your area, plus they have some interesting trend chart features.

  18. Must be a different part of upstate, it varies from around $2.65 or so at the Turning Stone Casino to around $2.85 at the most expensive stations; I've been paying $2.72-$2.77 at Hess and Delta Sonic. Prices do vary quite a bit from region to region around the state, though.

And we have that damned 10% ethanol, too. If you didn't know, ethanol is another scam, it supposedly reduces emissions or something, but your milage will also be 10% worse, so if you used 10 gallons to go 200 miles without, you use 11 gallons with it. Hard to believe that using more gas keeps the air cleaner, and the gov't and oil companies... well mostly the gov't, since most of the price is sales tax, profits off it. Which has been going on longer than most of us have been around, so there's no reason to blame one president or another for the taxes on it.

About $2.79 here in Elk Grove CA. But still alot more than the ass clown who siphoned my truck a few months back.

My brothers work partner kept smelling gas in the morning when he left for work and finally looked under the truck for a leak. He found someone had installed a valve in his tank for easy midnight draining. Bastards are brilliant.

Ever noticed how gas can go up a dime overnite but go down only a penny at a time? Makes you wonder doesn't it......or maybe it doesn't.

    That shits expensive now days...

I think last time I filled up it was 2.24 a gallon but I havn't driven anything that ran on gas since Nov...

Diesel is where it's at... 2.54 a gallon this morning ran 354 miles round trip to Iowa, used 1/2 tank in an '03 Dodge 3500 with a 5.9L and a 6spd.. 35 gal. tank that's 20.23mpg... Usually gets better mpg with the controler kicked down a couple notches and your foot out of the go pedal... But then again that's no fun...

    US Gallon is 3.8 liters
NZ Dollar is .72 US cents

We are paying 1.65 in Tauranga so , NZ $6.27 a US gallon about
    US$4.55.
